Table Tennis Rubber: Dr Neubauer ABS 2
The anti-spin rubber ‘New Neubauer ABS’ has set new standards for the block game at the table with Smooth Antis.
This new ABS 2 version has been specially trimmed to use plastic and ABS balls for maximum effectiveness.
In contrast to most other smooth antis on the market, ABS 2 can also be used profitably with the so-called ABS balls, since the ball does not rise when blocking, but surprisingly short and flat returned.
Blocking on spin-spinning topspin balls creates a noticeable spin reversal.
On fast, largely spineless topspin rockets can be produced by simply holding the racket a fairly short block ball, in which the ball sags slightly down, although there is no spin.
In particular, the generally very low susceptibility to angles is noticeable, since even hard hit spins of your opponent can be mastered.
Despite the very slow tempo, ABS 2 is not “dead” in the game forward, but instead makes it possible to change the game rhythm with pressure blur and thus confuse the opponent.
Thanks to its excellent control values, ABS 2 can also exert its dangers on fast offensive woods.
