It’s a really well-equipped laboratory set with an excellent selection of 10 different chemicals and includes a real methylated spirit burner to help when learning about the fascinating chemical reactions involving heat. Plus, there are glass test tubes and vessels and other apparatus to provide a more realistic laboratory experience.

The Lab includes 10 chemicals including Ammonium Chloride, Calcium Hydroxide, Copper Sulphate, Iron Sulphate, Litmus Blue, Potassium Iodide, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Hydrogen Sulphate, Sodium Thiosulphate and Tartaric Acid.

The lab also includes a glass spirit burner (requires methylated spirit which is not included for safety reasons), 1 pair of safety glasses, 100ml glass beaker, 100ml glass conical flask, 120mm glass stirring rod, 100mm 2 glass tubing, 2 cork stoppers, 2 cork stoppers with holes, filter papers, universal indicator papers, plastic funnel, measuring spoon, plastic dropping pipette, 100mm rubber tubing, small scoop, 2 glass test tubes and caps, metal test tube holder, test tube cleaning brush, test tube rack and instruction manual.

To carry out all the experiments shown in the instruction manual you will need the extra equipment and basic household items detailed in the manual including Methylated Spirit, Colourless (distilled malt) Vinegar, Citric Acid Powder, Salt, Bicarbonate of Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide and Turmeric.

The Science Mad Chemistry Lab is designed for children aged 10 but the product should be always used under direct adult supervision. The Science Chemistry Lab is fully tested and complies with the European Toy safety directive.
