Description
Table Tennis Rubber: Gewo Nexxus EL Pro 53 Super Select
GEWO Nexxus Super Select – The Pro Player rubbers for the highest demands, which until now (due to the very complex production process) were only reserved for GEWO world-class players!
SuperSelect stands for selected processing quality, consistent playing characteristics over a long period of time and inspiring speed and spin values. A special bonding and production process ensures that the SuperSelect rubbers meet the standards of professionals such as Quadri Aruna (top 15 in the world) and the runner-up world champion in doubles, Alvaro Robles, and withstand the toughest competition conditions. Those who use the speed and optimal energy transfer for themselves have a new offensive weapon at their disposal that leaves nothing to be desired. Hard, spin-loaded topspin and counterspin shots succeed with ease and less effort.
The new high-performance rubber from GEWO – at pro player level – for anyone who wants to follow the trail of world-class athletes!
GEWO Nexxus EL Pro 53 SuperSelect
Attention high performance: Ready to take the next step?
The tough power variant for your offensive game. Absolute dynamics and tempo values at the feasible limit help you to exploit your maximum potential. Select quality in terms of workmanship and performance. Due to the first use of the two technologies SSTT and OTT in a GEWO rubber, the GEWO Nexxus EL Pro 53 SuperSelect plays more elastically and flexibly than expected despite its enormous sponge hardness. However, it still offers maximum speed, optimal coupling and maximum spin values. Best suited for power games close to the table with short and explosive arm movements.
Player type/characteristics:
• For attackers who are looking for quick points with all modern, offensive hitting techniques.
• Maximum catapult, spin and highest speed values with a rubber in the hard area.
• Hard-hitting offensive power and dynamics for table tennis at pro player level.
Optimized Trajectory Tec (OTT)
The new GEWO Nexxus SuperSelect rubbers have been designed for maximum demands in terms of acceleration and stability. The goal was to develop a more compact sponge structure for this, which does not make the rubber heavier, but makes it more dynamic and elastic. This feat has been achieved with the new Optimized Trajectory Tec (OTT).
More elastic air chambers in the medium-pored sponge (SuperSelect Sponge Cells) ensure that despite the hardness, a more flexible and dynamic feel is created and weight is saved at the same time. In this way, a higher density in the sponge can be achieved, which not only ensures more spin and dynamics, but also a longer trajectory of the ball.
The Optimized Trajectory Tec (OTT) is the key for modern high-performance table tennis in combination with hard and dynamic sponges.
Super Select Transmission Tec (SSTT)
The brand new Super Select Transmission Tec, SSTT for short, stands for optimal transfer of spin and speed to the ball. Incoming topspin hits with a lot of rotation can be easily countered or blocked thanks to the new surface texture, without the ball flying too high out of the club jumps out, leading to slight errors. Your own rotation-loaded attack hits are still easy to handle and pose unsolvable problems for some opponents. This is made possible by the special rubber compound, which allows the ball to remain on the racket for longer.
DGC40+ 2.0
DGC40+ 2.0 stands for a constant, reliable connection when the ball hits the ball and prevents the ball from “slipping” with the non-slip surface structure. With the introduction of the latest ball generations (e.g. GEWO Select Pro 40+ ***), further development and adaptation of the surface is essential: the result is the DGC40+ “Dynamic-Grip-Concept” 2.0. The surface was specially designed to meet the requirements of the latest ball generations developed and refined. There is no standstill!
Elastic Rubber
Despite its compactness, the EL sponge (Elastic Rubber) provides impressive feedback when hitting the ball and a unique playing feel. All rubbers in this series are spin-oriented. The pimple heads in the rubber are arranged closer together and are slightly thicker than on XT rubbers. The DGC40+ 2.0 surface unfolds its full strength here (high, reliable coupling and maximum spin), as it provides a slightly larger contact area when the ball hits. Pure joy of playing!
